Joseph Brokamp was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brokamp of 133 South Jefferson Street in Dayton, Ohio.  His was married to Doris Brokamp, and the couple lived at 237 Bainbridge Ave. in Dayton.  Joseph entered the service on 28 May 1941, and was assigned to the 33rd Regiment of the 3rd Armored Division.  He was Killed in Action on 23 December 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge near Houffalize in Belgium.  In addition to his wife, he was survived by a 10-month old daughter, Sharon, whom he never met.
