The AOMDA Foundation works with schools and teachers to promote the discovery of America’s military cemeteries and the service members buried overseas. For example, nearly 1,500 Belgian young people earn the Price of Freedom Award each year as part of their classroom curriculum.

Children at elementary schools sing or give tributes at Memorial Day ceremonies. Troops with the Boy Scouts of America traditionally support the ceremonies.
