Private Ralph F. Wise was born in 1925 in Pennsylvania.  He was the son of Andy S. Wise.  He lived in Greene County, Pennsylvania and joined the US Army on 27 November 1943 at Pittsburgh.  He was part of K Company of the 3rd battallion of the 290th Infantry Regiment.  He died on 7 January 1945 at Beffe, near Hotton.  He was 19 years old.
