Louis J. Cubba was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cubba of 226 Englewood, Detroit, Michigan.  He had a brother named Sam and a sister named Joesphine.  He attended Northern High School in Detroit and worked for the Murray Corporation before the war. He served as the tail gunner on a B-26 Maurader.  On 23 September 1944, he was wounded over the Netherlands, and then killed when the plane crash landed in Belgium.
