Ralph W. Adams was born on 26 November 1985 in Rochester, New York.  He was the son of John Q. and Elizabeth Adams and they lived at 324 Federal Street.  Ralph enlisted on 30 April 1918.  He served in Company L of the 148th Infantry Regiment of the 37th Division.  He shipped to Europe in June of 1918.  He served in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive before the 37th Division was sent to Belgium.  Ralph was Killed in Action on 31 October 1918, the first day of the 37th Division’s offensive in Belgium.
