This Memorial Day ceremony commemorates Private Robert Opsommer of the 131st Infantry Regiment of the 33rd Division in World War I.   Since AOMDA only became aware of the existence of this grave in 2016, this year will mark the first time that a Memorial Day ceremony will be held at his grave.
